Miss Selfridge was a British high street store chain which began as the young fashion section of Selfridges department store in London in 1966.
Medieval-style and peasant dress trend was huge in the ’70s and with Janis Joplin inspired Woodstock look which reflected the folk style and patchwork. Polyester fabrics were also popular as the were crease free and easy to pack and by the mid 70’s pastel colours dominated to look.
